MindCore — Mental Health, Re-imagined

MindCore is an online mental health service that connects users with licensed therapists, provides access to educational resources, and fosters a supportive community. The service offers individual, couple, family, and group therapy, addressing various mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety, as well as providing psychiatric care and medication management.

Problem scope

MindCore needed to create a digital mental health and well-being platform that not only provided access to qualified therapists but also fostered community support, offered educational resources, and tracked user progress. Additionally, they sought to establish a distinguishing brand identity that would set MindCore apart in a competitive market.

Process

The research involved discussions with hundreds of members to understand what they want in a digital care platform. I found that people are looking for a personalized, simple, and user-friendly experience with tools that empower them to independently manage their care. Recognizing the diverse needs of older adults, young individuals, healthy and sick people, and families, the research concluded that a one-size-fits-all solution wouldn’t meet the unique needs of every member. As a result, a flexible, inclusive experience was created to work for all patient types.
